Track of the week: Absolute Treat 'Bonnie'

Absolute Treat are a Toronto based pop group who blend disco, rock, and R&B into the most danceable sound. The band is led by queer artists Natalie Panacci (vocals) and Julia Wittman(vocals and guitar). Throwing it back to 2022 with Bonnie, a track that came with their debut album 'Dilettante' that went big in the Toronto pop music scene.


However, it wasn't until the moment that was the release of Jacob Tierney's Heated Rivalry, Ifyyk, that the 2022 song Bonnie went global as it was included in the track list for episode 5. The band had their label Victory Pool and their publishing partners, High priestess to thank for pitching the track to the series and their streams sky rocketing ever since, as the song currently sits at 1,080,481 listens. A number that is miles ahead their other singles, that I personally feel deserve the same recognition, but one massively successful series inclusion at a time.
