Track of the week: Fred Again.., Jamie T 'Lights Burn dimmer'

This collaborative release comes as the third installment of Fred again..'s series 'Brandon's Night out', following HARDSTYLE 2 and scared. The series features actor Brandon Bendell's nightlife adventures, with each single release and music video adding a new component to the plot. This final part, with the assistance of Jamie T, creates an immersive blend of the tracks energy alongside the visual story telling.

Fred again..'s inspiration behind the series and the release of 'Lights Burn Dimmer' is the depiction of all the emotions of a night out, and with this release the comedown of it being over. in Fred's words:

'i feel like often, the day after a night out all ur left with is a few snapshots and a couple songs in your memory. These videos feel like that kinda memory collage to me.

The lyrics for this track centre on themes of nostalgia, not only with the lyrics but the voice of icon Jamie T, and fleeting moments as the songwriting depicts an experience of tension between two people. This track creates the perfect switch from club energy to an intimate moment of human connection.
